We carry out a wide range of advanced projects involving complex and precise rolling, bending, and cutting of sheet metal. Our projects range from unique designs produced in close collaboration with architects to the mass production of thousands of items. Three of our projects are illustrated below.

“THE BLUE PLANET” AQUARIUM IN COPENHAGEN

“The Blue Planet”, the home of Denmark’s National Aquarium, is an architecturally sophisticated structure situated on the coast of the Sound between Denmark and Sweden. The building is designed as a vortex and thus unifies the exterior environment and the interior design of the aquarium. The cladding enveloping the entire building was supplied by Dan Vals.

MULTI-STOREY CAR PARK AT THE NATIONAL HOSPITAL IN COPENHAGEN

The award-winning multi-storey car park serving Denmark’s leading hospital is easily recognisable by the attractive exterior made of twisted metal panels whose appearance varies with changes in daylight and the viewer’s position. These machined metal panels were supplied by Dan Vals.

“CIRCLES” BRIDGE OVER A CANAL IN COPENHAGEN

Beautiful architecture in city spaces can help us slow down. This certainly goes for the “circles” bridge designed by Olafur Eliasson. It elegantly spans the canal, linking the Islands Brygge and Christianshavn districts. The five trumpet shaped pillars on which the circles rest were supplied by Dan Vals.
