Robot welding For uniform welds
Robot welding gives you results that are accurate and more efficient. This is advantageous when working with larger production runs. The advanced and latest technology ensures the uniformity of all welded elements and that the whole process becomes more cost-effective.
Because robot welding is so accurate, it is possible to ensure that fewer errors occur as the machines are set up before the actual welding begins. Here, of course, we check that everything fits your specifications. If certified welders were to perform the same work with manual welding, it would take considerably longer and there would be a greater risk of mistakes. This is because robot welding can be configured to millimetre accuracy.
In short, robot welding gives you faster welds that are more accurate.
When do we recommend robot welding?
If you have a large series production batch, or you require very precise welds, it can be an advantage to consider robot welding. This is because the robot can be configured to deliver the same result every time and is also able to weld in more difficult and complicated places on the production items.
When we need to robot weld items, we first have to make a welding fixture to hold the material during the actual welding. There are costs associated with making such a fixture. Therefore, we recommend that you have several items that need to be welded in series production before robot welding becomes the most cost-effective solution.
Robot welding also allows us to ensure that you waste less material, which ultimately reduces costs. The robot welds uniformly every time, so you are therefore less likely to see as many bad welds.
You should therefore consider the complexity and scale of the welding task when choosing robot welding as a solution.
